It all began in 1947. Back then it was still under the name Hanseatische Gummiwerke Bachmann und Co. KG. A lot has happened since then. We are an internationally operating company with brands known all around the world. As is only fitting, we celebrated our success so far at our anniversary event. 2023 will bring with it additional small events for our employees with which we want to say THANK YOU – for 75 thrilling years.

The packaging of 100% paper from sustainable sources can be recycled completely. And to make our ecological footprint even smaller, the focus is on environmental friendliness from the raw material to production with green electricity.

The new KryTech 609 and KryTech 809 all-purpose gloves are suitable for a wide range of uses in precision work where basic cut protection is required for dry and dirty environments. The special feature is the advanced plating technique, which makes it possible for only the soft yarns to come into contact with the skin and thus guarantees high wearing comfort and flexibility right to the fingertips.
In addition, it is not necessary to remove the gloves to operate touchscreen devices, meaning wearers stay productive and well protected against injuries even when doing so.
Finally, festivals again! After a two-year COVID-19 break, it was once again time for BILLY BOY to pack tents, provisions, and condoms before setting off for the 2022 festival season. The mission was to raise awareness and promote safer sex at large music festivals such as Deichbrand and Ferdinands Feld. In total, 80,000 condoms were distributed to the music fans. This allows us to reach our target group and communicate with them directly about contraception and protection against sexually transmitted infections.

Our NUK team has launched a large-scale recycling initiative in cooperation with a wide range of partner firms. Since June 2022, plastic pacifiers, baby bottles, and cups have been taken back free of charge across Germany and recycled in a circular economy approach. The items were collected by the “NUK pacifier monster”, which “loves to eat plastic” and thus saves the discarded baby products from incineration. Sand molds made exclusively from the recycled pacifiers, bottles, and cups are then produced in a special recycling process, and participants can win them in a prize draw. There are currently collection points in more than 550 daycare centers and at more than 100 retailers across the country. A thrilling partnership between industry and retail.
